Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park

One of the most stunning places I have ever been.

I really wanted a photo of a jeep or some car with outback vibes. This was my favorite one.
Yes, the sand is *that* red.
Okay looks less red here. The lighting was different. Don't believe me? Looks like you're gonna have to go see for yourself :)
Goals.
Now you'd think there's gotta be at least one spider in there right?
This tree was just so jarring that I had to capture it. Normally I try to take pictures that are "beautiful" but this tree inspired me to find more disrupting photos like this one.
The moon posing for a pic.
I took this and then stared at the rock till the sun fully set.
Here's what the rock looks like up close.
I saved my favorite shot for last. One moment the sky was empty. The next moment, the moon was rising right out of the rock.
Proof I was there :)
Uluru is expensive but DO NOT pass it up. It 's worth it. It's such a unique place that you will never know anything like it unless you visit. Perhaps go when it's cooler out. You won't perish from the summer heat and the flies aren't fully out yet.
