Queenstown, New Zealand
If you ask someone who has been to Southern Island New Zealand where to go, they'll no doubt tell you to visit Queenstown.
This is why.
Not sure why the queen thought she had any authority here. The place is clearly subject to the majesty of the Southern Alps.
Can't afford lake-front property? Well did you consider just building it yourself?
How is this not a movie set?
The vibes are giving mountain ski town.
Now the vibes are "what is going on up there".
Okay back at mountain ski town vibes again.
I like this one.
Heaven? Is that you?
Kayaks. Very on brand.
Imagine THAT is the background of your childhood.
Scooters. Less on brand than kayaks.
They get to live here.
Time to stare at the mountains again.
Lake cruise anyone?
This is an actual place that exists in the world and is not a movie set. And it genuinely looks like this. That's crazy.
This one is my favorite. A wood-paneled steamship, string lights, a pink sunset, and dark rock mountains with white snow. Absolutely stunning.
We'll end on the mountains, of course.
